- 2 sticks butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. cake flour
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Set butter out for about 6 hours until softened.

2Blend butter and sugar.

3Add 1 egg at a time, mixing well after each one.

4Add flour, cream, lemon and vanilla extract.

5Mix well.

6Pour into greased and floured pan.

7Bake at 300° until toothpick comes out clean (about 1 hour).
