- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 2 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 5 large eggs
- 3 c. (plain) flour
- 1 c. milk (can evaporated)
Directions

1Have ingredients at room temperature. Cream the butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time.

2Add flour and milk, alternating. Add flavorings. Start in cold oven at 325° on center shelf. Keep oven closed. Test in 1 hour but usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes longer.
