Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3/4 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. light butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/2 c. sifted bread flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in 3/4 cup warm water.

    Mix together light butter and sugar.

    Add egg and mix well.

    Add yeast mixture, plus 1/2 cup warm water, 1/2 teaspoon salt and sifted bread flour.

    Mix all ingredients well.

    Let sit in greased, covered bowl in refrigerator overnight.

    Roll out like biscuits and cut.

    Let rise at room temperature about 2 1/2 hours.

    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
