- 2 c. buttermilk
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 7 Tbsp. Crisco
- 2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Mixture will be slightly runny.

2Blend in some self-rising flour for texture.

3Roll out and cut about 3/4 inch thick so biscuits will rise.

4Put either oil or melted butter in bottom of cookie sheet or loaf pan.

5Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown at 400°.

6Pour melted butter over them after baked.
