- 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Butter a nine-inch to 10-inch round baking pan or a cast-iron skillet.

3Mix cornmeal, flour, baking soda and salt together.

4Stir in the buttermilk and two tablespoons of the butter.

5Spread in prepared pan and bake 30 minutes.
