  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Combine first 5 ingredients in pan and bring to a boil. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove and add vanilla. This glaze is especially good on pound cake or yellow cake.
