  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • unbaked 8-inch pie shell

Directions

    Cream butter or margarine until soft and work in sugar until mixture is smooth.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Slowly mix in buttermilk and vanilla.

    Pour mixture into pie shell and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until the filling is firm and lightly browned on top.
