  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. cake flour
  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 2 tsp. butter flavoring

Directions

    Cream sugar and shortening at high speed 10 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add one cup flour. Beat at a low speed one minute.

    Add remaining flour and milk.

    Beat well. Add flavoring. Bake at 350° for 1 hour in greased tube pan.
