- 2 sticks butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. sour cream
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 3 tsp. butternut flavoring
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add sour cream; blend well.

3Add eggs, one at a time.

4Beat well.

5Sift plain flour and self-rising flour together.

6Add flour to mixture, 1 cup at a time.

7Mix well. Add butternut flavoring; blend well.

8Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

9Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300°.

10Do not open at all during baking.

11Cool in pan and turn out on cake plate.
