- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 1/2 c. butter, divided
- 1 tsp. dill seed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. sliced mushrooms or canned
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
Directions

1Blanche cabbage 2 minutes in salt water; drain.

2Blend in 3 tablespoons butter, dill, salt and pepper; set aside.

3Saute mushrooms, 3 tablespoons butter and onion.

4Stir into cabbage; add the tomato sauce and sour cream.

5Put into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Top with butter and bread crumbs.

6Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
