  • 4 cups cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 8 ounces sour cream or 8 ounces yogurt

    Wash the cabbage well and place in a saucepan.

    Add the seasonings and cover.

    Heat the pan over medium heat for 5 minutes.

    Reduce heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.

    Stir in the sour cream/yogurt just before serving.
