  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 6 c. coarsely shredded cabbage (medium head)
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Saute ground beef until no longer pink. Add chopped onion and cook another 5 minutes. Stir in seasonings.

    Spread 3 cups shredded cabbage in 2-quart baking dish. Cover with meat mixture and top with remaining 3 cups cabbage. Pour undiluted tomato soup over top. Cover and bake in a 350° oven until cabbage is tender (about 1 hour). Serves 4 to 6.
