Cabbage Rolls

  • 1 medium head cabbage (not too tight)
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. rice (instant or uncooked)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Core the cabbage; put in large pot of boiling water to separate leaves.

    Trim off the hard vein.
  3. 3
    Mix together the other ingredients.

    Roll small part of meat mixture in leaf, starting at bottom of leaf.

    Place in a baking dish.

    Use 1 can tomatoes or tomato paste diluted with water to pour over rolls.

    Place extra leaves of cabbage on top.

    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.

    Add a little water if needed during the cooking.
