- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 1 c. rice
- salt and pepper
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions

1Strip large outer leaves from cabbage head.

2Parboil leaves for 5 to 7 minutes in salted water.

3Mix all other ingredients together.

4On each cabbage leaf, place meat mixture the size of a walnut.

5Roll and tuck ends.

6Place toothpick to secure.

7Place in Dutch oven in tomato juice and cook about 45 minutes on medium heat.
