Ingredients

  • 2 qt. water or broth
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 can whole tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 lb. diced kielbasa (optional)

Directions

    Shred cabbage (food processor or hand grater) and put into pot with 2 quarts water or broth.

    Add the remaining ingredients after the cabbage shrinks down enough to make room for the rest.

    Boil on medium-low for a few hours.
