- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 c. cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, diced
- 1 c. water
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- chili powder
- Tabasco sauce
Directions

1Brown beef and drain.

2In large skillet saute onion, cabbage and celery.

3Place meat and vegetables in a Dutch oven. Add beans, tomatoes and seasonings.

4Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.

5Yield: 6 to 8 servings.

6Delicious alone or served over rice.
