  • 1 pound beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons water

    Trim all fat and cut into 1/4 inch slices.

    Combine ingredients, add meat and cover.

    Marinate in fridge overnight. Remove from marinade, line a cookie sheet with foil and lay meat without touching.

    Dry for 10-12 hours at 175 degrees making sure to turn every 3 hours and keeping oven door propped open for ventilation.

    After completely cooled, store in refrigerator in plastic bags.
