  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil

Directions

    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Combine eggs, milk and salad oil.
  3. 3
    Add to flour mixture, beating well. Stir in 1 cup candied fruit and 1/2 cup nuts.

    Turn into greased loaf pan and bake at 350° about 50 minutes or until done.

    Remove from pan and cool.

    Wrap and store overnight.
