  • 4 c. raw peanuts, shelled
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Combine ingredients in large boiler and cook on medium heat until all the moisture is gone, about 15 minutes.

    Peanuts will look pink frosted.

    Be careful not to overcook and scorch. Pour peanuts into a large baking pan so peanuts will be in a single layer.

    Cook in 300° oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Remove from oven.

    When cooked, store in airtight container or Ziploc bag.
