- 3 12 cups pecans
- 2 egg whites
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 cup butter, melted
Directions

1Brown pecans in open pan in oven at 325 degrees (just for a minute until brown).

2Take out and cool.

3Beat egg whites, salt and sugar until stiff peaks form.

4Add pecans to egg whites.

5In meantime, melt butter in large cake pan 9 x 13 inch.

6Spread pecan mixture over melted butter.

7Bake 325 degrees for 30 minutes Stir every 10 minutes until butter is absorbed.

8Cool on waxed paper.
