  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cream or tartar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan except popcorn over medium heat; cook until it coats a spoon.

    Pour over popped corn. You can add peanuts to mixture before pouring over corn.

    Bake on cookie sheets for 1 hour at 200° for extra crispness.
