- 5 qt. popcorn (3 bags microwave)
- 2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Spread popped corn on baking sheet; set aside.

2In a large saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup.

3Boil 5 minutes and remove from heat.

4Add baking soda, vanilla and salt. Stir thoroughly; mixture will foam.

5Pour over popped corn and mix around well.

6Spread out as much as possible.
-
7Bake at 250° for 40 minutes.

8Stir every 15 minutes.

9Cool.
-
10Makes 5 quarts.
