  • 8 or 9 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put popped corn in a large roaster pan.

    Boil all ingredients, except popped corn and baking soda, for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add soda; stir quickly and pour over popped corn while foamy.

    Mix well.

    Place in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes while baking.
