- 8 or 9 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put popped corn in a large roaster pan.

2Boil all ingredients, except popped corn and baking soda, for 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat.

4Add soda; stir quickly and pour over popped corn while foamy.

5Mix well.

6Place in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes while baking.
