- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 lb. (2 sticks) oleo
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. white or dark Karo
- popped corn
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. butter
- peanuts (optional)
- pecans (optional)
Directions

1Blend brown sugar, oleo, salt and Karo together and boil 8 minutes.

2Take pan off heat and add baking soda and butter.

3Into very large mixing bowl, pour mixture over 6 quarts popped corn. Peanuts or pecans can be added to popped corn.

4Mix thoroughly. Bake on 2 cookie sheets at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
