  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb. (2 sticks) oleo
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. white or dark Karo
  • popped corn
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • peanuts (optional)
  • pecans (optional)

Directions

    Blend brown sugar, oleo, salt and Karo together and boil 8 minutes.

    Take pan off heat and add baking soda and butter.

    Into very large mixing bowl, pour mixture over 6 quarts popped corn. Peanuts or pecans can be added to popped corn.

    Mix thoroughly. Bake on 2 cookie sheets at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
