- 2 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 6 qts. popped corn
Directions

1Mix sugar, margarine, and syrup in heavy saucepan.

2Bring to boil and cook 5 minutes.

3Stir in remaining ingredients.

4Pour over popcorn immediately and mix lightly, but thoroughly.

5Place in large roaster and bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour.

6Pour on waxed paper and separate grains.
