  • 16 c. popped popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Mix all but popcorn and baking soda.

    Dissolve over low heat. Boil 5 minutes on medium to high heat.

    Take off stove and add baking soda.

    Put popcorn on large cookie sheet.

    Pour mixture over popcorn and stir.

    Put in oven at 250° for 30 minutes and stir every 10 minutes.

    Cool.
