- 6 c. popped corn
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted (optional)
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine popcorn and almonds in a large bowl.

2In 4 cup measuring cup, combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt.

3Microwave on High for 2 minutes; stir.

4Microwave 2 to 3 minutes longer until mixture comes to a rolling boil.

5Stir in baking soda.

6Pour over popcorn mix and mix well.

7Microwave on High for 2 minutes.

8Spread on foil or waxed paper to cool.
