  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 15 c. popped popcorn

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients.

    Cook and stir over medium heat until it bubbles around the edges.

    Cook 5 minutes more.

    Take off heat; stir in baking soda until foamy.

    Pour over popped popcorn and stir.

    Put into a 250° oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
