- 3 egg yolks
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Blend the sugar, cornstarch and salt.

2Add the egg yolks and blend well.

3Add the milk slowly and mix.

4Cook slowly until it thickens and the last thing, add the butter and vanilla.

5Whip until cool.

6Turn into baked shell and top with meringue.
