- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. cream
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. caramel flavoring
Directions

1Mix brown sugar, cream, caramel flavoring and butter in saucepan over medium heat.

2When all ingredients are dissolved and start to boil, mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup water.

3Add to mixture when thickened.

4Take off heat.

5Spread on cake.
