  • 4 oz. sugar
  • 1 c. corn syrup (dark)
  • 2 oz. pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 oz. butter
  • 1 pastry shell (9-inch is okay)

Directions

    Beat eggs and add sugar, syrup and melted butter.

    Put broken pecans in bottom of uncooked shell.

    Pour mixture over them and bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 1 hour.
