  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 pie shell, baked

Directions

    Brown 1/2 cup sugar in a heavy skillet.

    Combine 1 cup sugar, flour, egg yolks, butter, milk and vanilla.

    Pour heated mixture gradually into caramelized sugar, stirring until smooth.
