- 6 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Pop corn.

2Put sugar, butter, cream of tartar and corn syrup on high heat and boil.

3Stir in baking soda quickly.

4(It foams and becomes brown in color.)

5Pour over popcorn and mix thoroughly.

6Does not set fast (stays gooey).

7Put on 2 large cookie sheets and bake 2 hours at 200°.
