  • 1 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 2 c. boiling water

    Make a dough of first 6 items and spread into a greased casserole (a deep one or it will boil over in oven).

    Spread raisins on top of dough.

    Dissolve brown sugar and oleo in 2 cups boiling water and pour over raisins and dough in casserole. Bake at 375° for

    45 to 50 minutes or until cake is done.

    The dough will rise to the top and raisins and sauce will be in bottom.
