- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup granulated sugar
- 12 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 12 cup walnut halves
- 12 pecan halves
- 14 cup whole blanched almond, toasted
- 14 cup dried cherries (or cranberries)
- 14 cup dried apricot, chopped small
Directions

1Combine sugars, milk, and corn syrup.

2Cook and stir over medium heat till sugars dissolve and mixture boils.

3Continue cooking to soft ball stage (236 degrees F).

4Add butter or margarine and tablespoon vanilla.

5Let cool 10 minutes.

6Beat just till mixture begins to lose its gloss, 3 to minutes.

7Quickly stir in nuts and fruits till coated.

8Drop immediately from spoons onto buttered baking sheet.
