- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco, melted
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. caramel topping
- 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Combine first 7 ingredients.

2Reserve 1 cup.

3Press remaining mixture onto bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.

5Cool 10 minutes.

6Top with nuts and chocolate pieces.

7Mix caramel topping and 1/4 cup flour until smooth.

8Drizzle over chocolate pieces to within 1/4-inch of edges.

9Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture.

10Bake at 350° for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.

11Cool completely.
