Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. oats
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. butter (3 sticks)
  • 12 oz. jar caramel topping plus 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.

    Press half of mixture in a 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350°.

    Mix caramel and flour.

    Spread over oatmeal base, and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.

    Then top with the rest of oatmeal mixture.

    Bake an additional 20-25 minutes until golden.

    Let cool before cutting.
