Carnation Pumpkin Pie

  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 2/3 c. Carnation milk
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger

    Combine eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices.

    Gradually add evaporated milk.

    Mix well.

    Pour into unbaked pie crust.

    Bake in hot oven (425°) for 15 minutes.

    Reduce to moderate heat (350°) and continue baking about 40 minutes or until knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean.
