  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. grated carrots
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Stir in oil.

    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

    Add carrots, nuts, raisins and vanilla, mixing well. Bake in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
