- 3/4 cup sugar
- 12 slices bread toasted, ground
- 1 3/4 cups hazelnuts ground
- 2 1/4 cups carrots ground
- 1 package yeast
- 1 lemon
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.

2Mix the egg yolks and sugar in a large bowl until it obtains a foamy texture.

3Add the toasted bread, hazelnuts, carrots, yeast, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the bowl, and mix.

4Beat the egg whites until it forms peaks and has a firm texture. Add to the bowl and mix.

5Place the dough in a pound cake mold lined with parchment paper and bake for 1 hour.

6Remove the pound cake from the oven, let it cool off, and serve.
