Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Velveeta shells and cheese dinner
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 c. chopped tomato
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Directions

    Prepare Velveeta dinner as directed.

    Add chilies. Brown and drain meat.

    Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer and simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

    Add Velveeta dinner/chilie mixture to meat mixture. Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

    Before serving, top with sour cream and chopped tomato.
