- 2 lb. beef flank
- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 3/4 c. diced celery
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
- water
- all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
Directions

1Flatten steak and score diamond shape with knife.

2In medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, celery, onion, 1 tablespoon melted butter or oleo, salt, thyme, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and 2 tablespoons water.

3Spread evenly on one side of steak, leaving 1-inch border. Roll steak from a long side; secure with toothpicks or string.
