  • 8 slices bread, cubed
  • 3 oz. pkg. grated cheese
  • 2 lb. sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 c. drained mushrooms
  • 1 c. mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 3 tsp. mustard (dry)

Directions

    Layer half of the first 3 ingredients in a 3-quart baking dish; repeat.

    Combine mushrooms, soup and 1/4 cup of milk; pour over mixture.

    Also, blend together the eggs, 2 1/4 cups milk and mustard and pour on top of all.

    Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

    Bake at 300°, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
