Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp. instant onion
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper or celery
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • not too finely chopped walnuts

Directions

    Mix cream cheese and milk until smooth.

    Stir into cheese mixture the dried beef, onion, green pepper or celery and the pepper, mixing well.

    Stir in sour cream.

    Pour into an 8-inch pie plate and sprinkle walnuts over top.

    Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Serve hot with oblong (Waverly) crackers; use to dip into the hot mixture.
