  • 1 1/4 cups 1% low-fat milk
  • 3 cups frozen mashed potatoes (about 11 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

    Cook milk in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add potatoes, and cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
