Cheddar Spinach Squares

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. quick crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 to 10 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. half and half or milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • pinch of pepper
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach, drained well

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Press crescent roll dough into the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Pat and seal any perforation in dough.

    In medium bowl, combine cheese, flour, then add eggs, half and half, salt, pepper, nutmeg and garlic powder.

    Then add spinach.

    Mix well.

    Pour into crust.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes until well set.

    Cut into squares. Serve warm.
