- 1 clove garlic
- 1 c. white wine (Rhine is good)
- 1 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
- salt
- dash of nutmeg
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. Kirchwasser
Directions

1Rub split garlic on inside fondue pot.

2Add wine; heat until bubbles form.

3Do not boil.

4Toss grated cheese with cornstarch and seasonings.

5Add to hot wine, a handful at a time.

6Stir until cheese is smooth.

7Add Kirchwasser.

8Serve with cubed French bread.
