Cheese-Garlic Biscuits

  • 2 c. biscuit baking mix
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

    Combine baking mix, milk and cheese, mixing lightly but thoroughly.

    On floured surface, roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.

    Cut with biscuit cutter and place on baking sheet. Bake at 475° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

    Blend butter or margarine with garlic powder and brush on hot biscuits before removing from baking sheet.
