- 1 Tbsp. (small) yeast
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Put hot milk into large bowl; add yeast, shortening, sugar & salt. Add flour, 1 cup at a time and knead until it pulls away from bowl. Let rise, work down. Put in pans, bake at 350 degrees 20-30 minutes depending on size of loaves.
