  • 3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. quick grits
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 garlic cheese roll
  • 2 eggs
  • milk

Directions

    Cook grits according to directions on box.

    Melt margarine and cheese roll together in saucepan.

    Beat eggs well and pour into a measuring cup.

    Fill to make 1 cup with milk.

    Pour the cheese mixture into the grits; then add the egg mixture.

    Stir well.

    Pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

    This can be made early and refrigerated until baking time.

    If this is done, bake 50 minutes.
